Motivation
1. I am a defi-native builder. I've built Curve.fi and I've been involved with Curve's security related issues for quite a while. 2. I'm very much EVM-aligned. 3. Arbitrum is _the_ Defi layer of Ethereum. 4. Involvement in Arbitrum's security council has a significant impact in my career. 5. I believe I have experienced enough live security events to understand what happens in one of them. It's a lot harder if the victim is your protocol, which I have actually lived through. I've learned a lot in such incidents and have seen growth while persevering through such incidents: all security incidents are an opportunity to re-focus to what matters (and what isn't sexy): standardising codebases, active devrel, active docs maintenance, keeping good relationships with on-chain address fuzzers, mev bot handlers, security advisors, and so on: the invisible things that keep a machine running. Relevant experience
Experience
1. I've build Curve.fi for about 3 years as a smart contract developer and currently lead new initiatives and product strategy. 2. I am very experienced with Vyper, not so much with solidity, since I believe Vyper is inherently a better and safer smart contract language to work with (despite the fact that it suffered a critical incident in the past). 3. I've participated in several high-profile war rooms where either I was on the victim-side or I was the one trying to help figure out how to secure stolen funds back from exploiters. Some of my activities are not public but I've helped play key roles in securing large sums of funds from exploiters. 4. I've participated in grey hat negotiations (not fun whatsoever). 5. I've guided Curve to make key decisions to prevent hacks in the future.
