We believe our combination of deep expertise in smart contract security, formal verification, and protocol design provides a valuable perspective to the Security Council. Our work with leading protocols and infrastructure teams across Web3, together with extensive experience in broader cybersecurity domains, allows us to approach risk with both technical rigor and practical judgment.

We view participation in the Security Council as both a responsibility and a commitment to the ecosystem, and we value the opportunity to support Arbitrum’s security and governance.

Certora specializes in advanced security solutions for decentralized systems, combining formal verification, smart contract audits, and governance and protocol design review. Our core technology, the Certora Prover, enables teams to mathematically verify the correctness of their smart contracts, providing a high level of assurance for critical infrastructure.

We have a strong track record of identifying critical vulnerabilities in leading protocols prior to deployment, as well as uncovering fundamental issues in widely used tooling, including Solidity and LLVM. In addition to implementation-level security, we actively contribute to governance and design reviews for major protocols such as Aave, Lido and Uniswap.

Over the past year we helped top-tier protocols develop their platforms from design to deployment including Aave v4, Lido dual Governance and Lido v3.

Over the past year, Elad Erdheim has served on the Arbitrum Security Council as Certora’s representative, providing direct, hands-on experience with the responsibilities and expectations of the role.
