Bayge
CTO @ Superposition
Individual
Motivation
I'm super passionate about the Arbitrum ecosystem. I've been building on Arbitrum mainly with my team for the last 2-3 years, and I believe my unique position as a first mover with certain Arbitrum technologies provides me with a unique and valuable insight that will create value for the community.
Experience
- CTO of Superposition, one of the first teams building Stylus dapps on Arbitrum. Oversaw first security competition on Stylus, and organised one of the first private audits.
- CTO of Fluidity Money, processed 2 billion in volume across a mixture of a centralised and decentralised system without security incident. Oversaw ongoing security programs and audits. Reacted to the Kyberswap incident fast enough to freeze the attacker in his tracks. Collaborated with teams involved to identify the hacker.
- 12 years of software experience, 8 years of web3. Most of my experience in leadership roles.
- Founded Australia's largest functional programming organisation (Adelaide Functional Programming).
- Working on a blog highlighting Stylus projects and development techniques (Stylus Saturdays).
- Go is my lingua franca. I have been developing with it and the progenitor of most of Rust's concepts (OCaml) for most of my life. I have a focus on correctness and simplicity, and intuitively smell out bad code. Comfortable running complex tools to interrogate software correctness.
- Living and breathing web3. Been on ongoing on-call for the last many years, and experienced running reporting tools. Managed non technical teams to triage incident responses. Able to respond fast and proactively. Practicing best practices in my organisation (smart card code signing, liveness checking, key rotations, etc.) Beyond paranoid with opsec in an earlier life.
