Motivation

At Cyfrin, we’ve taken on the enormous task of embedding security at every section of the web3 stack. More than a blockchain security research firm, Cyfrin is a web3 security powerhouse solving crypto’s most fundamental issues: security, education, and developer experience.

Already a whitelisted security service provider for the Arbitrum ecosystem, Cyfrin would like to support Arbitrum further by joining the Security Council. With our security background and global team, we can be on hand to address any emergencies that may arise.

Experience

  • Technical Expertise: Cyfrin's audit reports demonstrate a deep understanding of blockchain security, critical thinking, and the ability to independently assess technical situations.
  • Proven Track Record: Cyfrin has experience handling emergencies and security incidents and finding effective solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Operational Security: Cyfrin’s strong security practices, particularly in hardware wallet use, align with the Council’s emphasis on maintaining high-security standards.
  • zkSync Security Council: Cyfrin understands the demands of security council members through its role on the zkSync Security Council.

A complete list of our audit reports can be found here: https://github.com/Cyfrin/cyfrin-audit-reports

In addition to our security work, Cyfrin contributes to Web3 security through open-source tooling. We have developed Aderyn, a rust-based static analyser, and Solodit, an aggregation platform for smart contract auditors.

We are applying to the security council as a team to leverage our full expertise. For reference, Cyfrin is founded and/or operated by some of the most prominent figures in the Web3 space. To see our team, please visit this link: https://www.cyfrin.io/about-us
