Motivation

Security and rollups have been my main focus in the past 3 years. Before that I worked as a software developer and did a CS PhD.

The security council is serious business and requires high level of principled professionalism, level-headedness, and attention to details. I do intend to thoroughly review upgrade code and dig into the test coverage and the PR diffs.

Arbitrum is the leading rollup project when it comes to making genuine steps towards launching a rollup that adheres to the original design pattern. Alongside active innovation in offering different runtimes and different possibilities on the L3 tradeoff space, it is making genuine steps towards full decentralization of sequencers and governance. As an advocate for rollups since 2019, I would be honoured to play a role in this incredible journey.
