Motivation
I’ve been in the crypto space since 2017 and have been an active DeFi user and developer on Ethereum. A passion for innovation, security, software development and decentralized technologies have been the driving forces behind my journey.
Joining the Arbitrum Security Council feels like the perfect opportunity to put my skills and experiences to good use, ensuring the integrity and security of the Arbitrum network.
Experience
As CTO at Blockworks, I oversee tech, product, and security operations. Products I’ve built serve millions of monthly active users, handling hundreds of millions of network requests. Despite daily DDoS and other security threats, my security practices ensure smooth, uninterrupted performance. No systems have ever been compromised.
My past experience includes:
- Building enterprise Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) to support ISO 27001 certification
- Developing software across networking, mobile, APIs, web, and native platforms
- Indexing blockchains (EVM, Bitcoin, Solana, etc.) and building crypto data infrastructure handling 300+TB compressed (1PB uncompressed)
- Hardening servers and infrastructure, successfully defending against intrusion attempts
- Writing EVM contracts in Solidity and building web3 applications

Cybersecurity
I have 22+ years of experience in cybersecurity, starting with a strong focus on system internals and security. I’ve worked on hardening both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including roles at banks where I audited security practices and tested the resilience of wire transfer and online banking systems. I’ve also built ISMS software that helps companies achieve security certifications like PCI and ISO 27001 in the past. Today, I continue to focus on threat monitoring and defense at scale.
